You must be a self starter with developed skills of self discipline to survive and thrive in consulting. You must develop strong skills of time management. Huge Australian based company with Australian values (not American). No bonuses, Employee ownership is an invite only club. Promotions require you to put yourself out there, even if that means to network disingenuously to become noticed. Thankless massive company; you are a nobody and just a number regardless of the sweat, blood and tears you pour into your work and your clients and coworkers- this is true for any large corporate consulting firm. No one cares or notices the hours you work overtime and the investment you make in GHD and for GHD. No one person's fault, it is what you make of it. Increasingly cumbersome and inefficient work flows, forms to complete and processes to follow to adhere to the GHD Way. Unclear QA/QC processes.
