Pros

Great coworkers and the work you tend to do is pretty unique in many aspects. It keeps you on your toes! Been here many years and what keeps me here is the great work-life balance but with the new Chief Experience Officer, Max, that may be changing soon because he believes in "Doing more with less" because he has no work life balance and expects everyone to work crazy hours like he does... Which screams poor time management on his part. Unless you are on site for something, the work-life balance is pretty great. Depending on the department/team you are on, GMR does a great job of hiring people that get along well with each other and work well together. DEI measures, training, and practices actually help people in the company work even better for our clients because we are a blend of different experiences that can deliver exceptional and unforgettable moments for client brands and activations.

Cons

The new CXO is screaming toxic work culture and he intends to bleed out the life and joy of the people in this company. He is one of the people that believes that work IS life! And expects everyone to be the same way under him. This is NOT sustainable and NOT how you treat human beings. This wasn't a thing until he joined the company. You get paid charity-level money for working over 40 hours every week and no overtime pay. It goes with the whole Do More With Less motto that he has. Which means you're doing the job of 3-5 people all the time. If he wants to work 80 hr weeks, that's on him, but don't push that on other people who have been in this company & succeeding and doing amazing work even before he joined. Don't be an Elon.
