Rather, it is designed to help employees prioritize what matters most, create clarity around expectations, and support personal development. It is also important to note that goals are a key component of the performance review process and are measured as part of overall performance. This year we started later than intended due to the ADP system implementation, but going forward goals will be written at the end of each year for the following year.
