Pros

Strong community and tradition. Legislative branch salaries run higher than their Executive branch counterparts. Plenty of training and career enrichment opportunities.

Cons

The threat of downsizing was pervasive. It was hard to chart the future of a printing company in a digital age. The buildings were very old and out-of-date so there were issues with drafty windows, leaky roofs, and indoor air quality.

Negotiate on wide range of issues including wages along with working conditions. A factory environment has issues that most federal agencies never deal with.

Cons

as legislative branch agency do not have full range of benefits that executive branch agencies do.
