      Great place to work, decent pay for the industry, great benefits, ok time off, bad advancement opportunity.

      Pros

      Pros: Thorough job training, very detailed description of lease presentation expectations, easy to get bonuses, professional development programs, great health care plans, accomplishments consistently recognized and generally compensated with leases.

      Cons

      "Gables Shuffle" high turn-over rate in some offices, despite compensation. Heavy work load due to high turn-over, little to no advancement opportunities even with Bachelor's degree. Lots of management moving around. All employees start around $10 for base pay. Long days, lots of paper work as we create and draw up our own lease paperwork.

      Pros

      Ability to run multi million dollar assets and offer our Customers a top notch product. The compensation and benefits are great. It is like one big family. Work/ home life balance

      Cons

      The only downside is for the new employees. They have to wait 10 years for their 6 week paid sabbatical but on the flip side you start out with 2 weeks vacation during your first year and it increases after that. Not many companies even offer that type of program. (2), We dont have many new communities coming online at the moment so you have to keep checking back on our website www.gables.com to see when we will have openings because after reading this of course you would want to come and work for Gables.

      Pros

      My boss is fair, concerned and a great listener. She provides just enough directoin to allow me to do my job and succeed. The people are wonderful to work with. It really is like a big family.

      Cons

      Some departments play a bit of favoritism that is quite obvious and disturbing to associates. Leaders of the company could do a better job at being more fair and not letting favorites be the only ones to advance,
