This was a good place to work a couple of years ago

Pros

At one time they were doing interesting technical work and there were some good managers. People are nice, there was some effort to do some fun events for employees (despite executive management dis-interest)

Cons

Over the last few years most of the good technical staff and managers have left. There is no training or career development. Every non sales related position (meaning the staff that actually builds and supports the software) is considered replaceable.

Pros

Nice experience for those just out of school and trying to get into the industry. Pretty average work ethic, social setting. Newer people show promise for the company. Definite job security with all the clients they have and will be getting. Probably a great place to work if you live in Romania... not so much for NYC.

Cons

Upper management is at times very stubborn and also typically jumps on the bandwagon of newest trends. Don't expect to be doing anything very novel here. The number of new projects mostly outweighs the already work in progress projects. Environment does not foster one taking pride in their work, so its hard to keep that ethic if you go in there already having it. Environment mostly fosters a work ethic of "if its done than its ok" instead of "Do it right the first time so it doesn't have to be redone a million times" . Place makes you feel like its more important to fill a desk than actually do good work. Careful your position isn't outsourced.
