Pros

I really was surprised how much I would love working for Gap. I enjoy meeting new people and helping them find just the right thing and sometimes showing them that they can look great in a new pair of jeans, etc. High quality merchandise and loyal customers.

Cons

Sometimes I am working in my department alone. Very hard to meet all customer's needs and prevent theft when there are 15 people in my dept and only one of me.

Pros

great discount, flexible schedule, build rapport with customers. in general, it's an excellent place to work as a student, but beyond that, it's impossible to live on just Gap as only job unless full time.

Cons

difficult to get good hours, end up doing more work that worth of pay sometimes. the push of the gap cards isn't always worth it since there's no commission.
