      Pros

      The pros are that there is not a lot of responsibility and you do get a generous discount on the clothing.

      Cons

      The con is that the customers can be very particular and there are too many managers to answer to on a daily basis.

      Not the retail nightmare I was bracing myself for

      Pros

      Discount. I know that with some retail experience under my belt I can probably get another retail job later on if the need arises. The store I work at is not as busy as other high-traffic shopping mall stores. My managers and co-workers are all pleasant and relaxed enough; I don't sense any cattiness thus far.

      Cons

      No regular hours. Little opportunity for advancement, but this doesn't affect me because I'm just doing this as a temporary, part-time gig.
