      -Discount can be used at Gap, Old Navy, or Banana Republic -Pleasant work environment -Customers usually gracious and respectful -High sales are rewarded (but not demanded)

      Cons

      -Management a mess -Constant communication issues between employees and management -Employees are discouraged from wearing non-Gap, Inc. apparel -Lower compensation than competing retail jobs -Brand lacks strong identity, making it difficult to justify sales to potential customers -Sales employees instructed to do stocking and vice-versa -Very low employee recognition -Management snobby and unprofessional

      learn different aspects about retail

      Cons

      very wishy washy. focus more on customer service than on associates. If you don't take care of associates, the associates will not take care of the customers. store makes associates break thier backs and work around the clock and still want associates to find time to to give 200% to customer service, while managers stay in the backroom on fake conference calls.

      Poor IT/systems 'competitive pay' if you know what I mean Not the top tier line of finance professionals, but then again it is Retail so to be expected. Top line performance over the years and management's inablity to change it Need to fight to get recognition of achievements
