Pros

If you don't have a family, or have too much free time in hand, then you can make lots of hours here. Average hours can range from 45-70 hours a week. They sometimes pay for both your D&G licenses. They try to work with school schedule, or anything else as long as you let them know ahead of time.

Cons

Pay for drivers is 12.75 (14.75 for night shift) and will not go up. Pay for the messenger that gets off the truck and deals with money is 14.75 (16.75 night shift). It feels very under paid when you have in mind you are constantly dealing with millions of dollars daily, and you are a constant target wherever you go.

There really aren’t any pros to being employed by Garda, you don’t get paid enough and you work ridiculous hours.

Cons

Considering the high risk of the job, the pay rate should be substantially higher than $12.75 an hour. Also, not getting overtime pay until 50 hours is ludicrous. Working 17 to 20 hour days and having to be back less than 4 hours later is also illegal, but that doesn’t stop them from doing it.
