      Just A Paycheck

      Plenty of work available = decent paychecks

      Cons

      Trucks are constantly breaking down, A/C works well in some trucks, but not all so you will end up in a truck without a/c sometimes. Turn over is huge issue right now, messengers ( guns ) are quitting, due to being over worked. The reason : new drivers refuse to obtain gun license, those that due then refuse to jump or work weekends forcing senior personal to carry all the weight. Current leadership has lost control of this branch due to lack of knowledge and discipline.

      Pros

      One Pro to working at Garda would be the your co-workers. They are the ones to make the day go smoothly. The starting pay is also decent for those of you looking for more than just minimum wage.

      Cons

      The amount of time you have to put into work is something I would consider a Con here. If you are looking to work more than your 40 hours then Garda is for you. You will more than likely be working no less than 45 hours a week, although it really depend on how you and your partner work together getting through the route, sometimes it does come down to how management distributes the stops. Another Con for me is the staff, they seem to look out for themselves instead of the employees.

      Pros

      None they pay less than competitors and make you provide everything other than the shirt and pants.

      Cons

      this company goes out of its way to not do the right thing for their employees they cant even handle paying their bills with hundreds of thousands of dollars from numerous vendors past due my advice for anyone dealing with them is run.
