Pros

Had great vision and campus, helpful people and generally fun work atmosphere. Had a lot of fun activities to participate in with fellow co workers such as outdoor clubs and games during lunch and in the evenings.

Cons

business market is falling, poor cad software, poor training of employees on design processes, Required to work 50 hours for a few weeks due to department being understaffed and overworked.

A great place if you know how to make yourself noticed

Pros

One of the best 401k plans around. Health insurance is excellent and costs much less than anything on the ACA Exchange. Fiscally responsible company, no debt. Olathe ain't no hick Kansas backwater, you can find anything here you want that doesn't require a mountain, a beach, or excessively refined tastes. Corporate culture actively discourages elitism. Casual dress code. Nice people.

Cons

Not an "If you do X, you'll get Y" environment. If you want to be noticed, you have to make yourself noticeable, and for some that is difficult. If you're a nose-to-the-grindstone type, you risk becoming invisible. Some departments are more insular than others, slowing both themselves and everyone else down.

Pros

Company wants to care about employees, employee stock plan, pension and 401k. Insurance benefit is reasonable. Cool products and nice employee discount.

Cons

Too many layers of management. Directors do not encourage employees to progress in their career, as if they are afraid of being replaced. Lies and backstabbing are common.
