Pros

The company has done very well in a short amount of time which leaves it with an ample amount of cash in reserves. So it's not going anywhere for a while. Good company to work for if you're used to living in a very small fish bowl and have little to no clue what else is out there to be offered. People are great to work with.

Cons

The pay range for engineers is FAR below what the industry standard is. And they feed off new college graduates and people in dire situations that have little to no leverage to say anything about it. From what I've seen, they do not utilize people to the best of their abilities and it's difficult to get your voice heard when you have more experience dealing with specific situations.

Pros

Garmin is full of good people who are technically competent and easy to work with. If you can get on a mobile app project, you will get to work with new technology on interesting problems. Just stay away from "Info-serv"

Cons

Below average compensation plus an unpleasant work environment has caused an exodus of talent. If you get stuck on "Info-serv" your life will be significantly worse.
