Pros

Work experience and that is about it. Hourly rate is good, but the amount of hours counteract that completely.

Cons

-Low hours -Weird house calls -They want you to buy parts from Best Buy and mark them up -You aren't allowed to call customers.

This is a Job that allows you to choose when and where to work.

Cons

The help desk is NOT qualified to work with clients which causes several problems. They make diagnostics based on what the customers say...they don't take into consideration that customers are calling the company because they DON'T know what's wrong. 95% of all my tickets are misdiagnosed.

Pros

I had to chance to see first hand where a company can fail and how bad supervision and poor decision making can lead to ruin a company and generate so much negative social media

Cons

The main problems internally with geeks onsite is the upper management, Each department only worries about how to make money instead of customer and employee satisfaction which should really be core principles, specially in a small business. Geeks on site lacks training manuals, comprehensive training programs for customer service and sales agents and any kind of indicators related to performance. Because we dont have serious evaluations, we pretty much cannot make a progression ladder for employees or determine the efficiency of supervisors and management
