      No pros to working here

      Cons

      Dishonest and misleading as far as onboarding and educating new developers, CEO full of himself, Insane expectations and deadlines, lack of effective communication, mismanaged projects. Expect to walk into a mess and get thrown under the bus, where you have to sit and listen to the CEO mock the rest of the world and complain as to why we all aren't as smart as him.

      Although you were not an employee, we appreciate the feedback and we share your frustration. It was a tough 2 weeks of trying to work together. We sincerely hope the company you work for who placed you as a contractor on one of our projects is able to find a better fit for you with another great company.       Great Work Environment

      Pros

      I have been at Geneca for 5 months. This is the first job I have had where the growth and advancement of employees is clearly a priority to the leadership team. Since day one I have been encouraged, challenged and supported every step of the way. Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a team approach makes Geneca a truly great place to work.

      Cons

      Unfortunately, many employees work at client sites rather than in the home office. This can be a bummer because you don’t work as closely with all your co-workers. It’s nice that the company recognizes this and puts a lot of effort into culture and company events to bring everyone together on a regular basis.

      - Focus on culture - Relaxed environment - Ok pay - Talented people

      Cons

      Internal projects suck! They are meant to be learning opportunities for people, bout instead it makes everyone frustrated coz they make you feel like this is the first time you are working professionally. Speaking of professionalism, there isn't any! External projects are good, coz no one critiques you as much. Talented people but sometimes are too dominating. The Getting predictable process- seriously! Who came up with that.
