Pros

Good for executives, and directors they can enjoy bossism.

Cons

No work life balance, some of directors of engineering will NOT treat employees respectfully, they just want to look good to their boss, they will push on unrealistic things just by joining the company few months back. So there will be always turnarounds and openings in company website. consider this as last option. working like old manufacturing company , taking work from engineers by threatening by removing from job. no motivation strategy . not good process to execute the work, but these directors have no idea about the current process.

Full of opportunities for people with initiative and drive to constantly want more in their career growth. Diversification efforts have paid off tying the company to several growth markets and at the same time helping to ease the fluctuations when one of the markets isn't performing well. Great opportunity to jump in and help build a future global powerhouse!

Cons

It can be hard for some people to adapt that are used to having everything solidified around them. Positions at Generac require an aptitude to help develop better processes.

Great people to work with - really top notch engineering talent in particular. Fun being part of the team that is the leader in the rapidly growing market for backup power - presents tons of opportunities. Fast paced work environment - great ability to make an impact as the company grows. Tons of investment going into new systems, processes and facilities to improve efficiency and capabilities. Eight acquisitions over the last several years have greatly expanded the company's product line and the markets served.

Cons

Definitely need high energy, drive, creativity and intellect to succeed. Management understands the business very well and asks a lot of questions so you need to know your stuff. If you are looking for a place to keep a low profile or just punch a clock - this probably isn't the right fit for you.
