Unrealistic expectations. More concerned about hitting deadlines so upper management gets their bonuses than the actual success of a project. Although it's been a publicly held company for a while, it's still very much in transition. The company has an extremely aggressive growth plan but is lacking basic fundamentals to get them there. Small company mindset - they don't even realize what they don't know. Expected to constantly travel between plants without any kind of reimbursement. Micromanagement at all levels, even the executive level. Not open to flexible work options (working remote).

The only people in the organization who count are the executive team even though one of Generac's touted values is "People". Everyone else is not smart enough to have good ideas and is mocked and belittled in large meetings by the elite executive team . I have a very large log of all the stupid things I have been told to do that contradict common sense. As was stated in another review "check your brain at the door" because you don't get to use it.
