Pros

working at Generac beats being unemployed. Generac is the type of company you go to for a job not a career it can be a great stepping stone to reputable companies. Management is ok but employee moral is hopeless everyone from the top down is leaving or seeking employment else where.

Cons

The compensation is terrible with little improvement as you move up. Human resources has their own agenda and has no idea what goes on in this company, management is even disconnected with HR. The turn over is extremely high as employees are under appreciated and underpaid. Rather then focus on the talent they have they pull in outside resources underpay them until they get sick of it and leave.

The potential is there but the executive leadership is not leveraging it properly.

Cons

The people on the front line are not respected for the expertise they bring. The people that know how to 'manage upward' are the ones who are rewarded.
