Pros
Pay wasn't terrible, it has gotten better. Pretty easy to get basic promotions as long as you show your a hard working individual and get along with your boss.
Cons
Unless your friends with the right people no matter how hard you work for an advancement into a more critical role you won't get it even if you are the most qualified person for it. It took me finding a new job, putting my 2 weeks in, going through with leaving for them to offer me the position and responsibilities that come with it... 2 months later. I said no. Also over time was a thing but I think that's gone for now.
