Pros

The only pro to working here is some of the most awesome people out on the shop floor. Other than that none what so ever.

Cons

Pay sucks. People are being hired at the rate that current employees are making, but current employees don't get a raise to compensate for the new employees. They are not family friendly as they claim to be. I spend more time at work than I do with my family. Had to quit college because of the long hours. Can't make ends meet with what they pay you. Management is horrible, people come and go like crazy. They lie about the bonuses every quarter. Been there over 5 years and haven't seen one in 3 years. God forbid you have health issues, they just laugh in your face and make you work even more or try to get you to quit. HR is useless, always loosing important paperwork and then threaten to fire you if you don't produce it. They expect you to work in really hot weather or when it is so cold your fingers are numb. Employees are actually wearing winter coats, hats and gloves just to stay warm.

Pros

Some of the best people you will work with. Everyone is very helpful and some are very knowledgeable. They have pretty good resources that set you up for "success". Very complex and interesting product.

Cons

Turnover rate, pay, upper management. Quarterly bonuses if goals are met, but projections are storm reliant. Corporate leaders dont understand the design process and set unattainable time tables. Lower management is very understanding, but have no power to do anything about it.

Pros

For professional/technical ranks the management is decent and most managers treat their subordinates fairly. The benefits with respect to medical, dental, vision, 401K are a little better than average. If you have a good work ethic it will be noticed and additional responsibility will be yours.

Cons

too much employee turnover and people who just "show up" and do the bare minimum to avoid being fired. Management tolerates poor employee performance (sleeping on the job, drinking right before a shift) as well as poor attitudes. Quarterly employee bonus is a farce, not paid out since Q4, 2013 however it is routinely mentioned to job candidates. Generac management purposefully anchors median compensation for nearly all positions approximately 20% below prevailing market wage,
