Pros

Hires anyone, can work on range of projects

Cons

Go for other job offers if possible. Pay is low for engineers w/ low raises, laughable bonuses. "Salaried" workers have to clock in/clock out & will be fired without warning for short breaks. Cameras in building will track you wherever you go and HR will review camera footage. Must clock out to get lunch, even if you are buying it and bringing it to your desk (takes less than 2 minutes). Higher ranking engineers will often talk about politics, even advocating violence. Consistent misogyny, one supervisor expressed shock saying "a woman engineer wrote this". Not a healthy work environment and generally not worth it. Again, go for other job offers. If you must work here, get in, get experience, and get out ASAP.

Pros

Some amazing, really talented people. Got to be involved with some fascinating work. I felt tremendous pride being a part of the mission. Good benefits. My immediate team was awesome and I really miss many of those people.

Cons

Badly broken inter company communications. Huge us versus them attitude between many groups. A minority of old timers, though likely very hard workers, if you need to depend on them for information and your need is low priority to them, practically speaking you may never get what you need. Literally months or years may pass. No joke. Some of those folks are simply untouchable, and you can basically forget about meeting your own commitments. If I had ten dollars for everytime I was told I'd get something by the end of the day, and then didn't, I'd have some serious cash just from that. Never experienced that level of frustration at and dissapointment in professional colleagues anywhere before. I'd do everything in my power to compensate, until, after about 4 years I just broke down mentally exhausted, and had to leave. Towards the end of my career now and received my first poor performance review at EB. Sadly I couldn't disagree with the review, though so much was beyond my immediate control I tried to forgive myself, though still really stings. I'm pretty bright guy, and I worked my butt off, though I may as well have been a hamster on a wheel. In the end, I couldn't make any difference there.

Positive Work Culture? What’s that?

Pros

Job security! If you can withstand the way you are treated, and can tolerate your ittle bittle paycheck you are able to stay at the company as long as you’d like! Good luck…..

Cons

You are a badge number and nothing more….advancement opportunities severely lack, minimal training and a terrible work life balance. Pay is so low it’s honestly laughable and for some reason everyone at the company feels entitled to belittle and talk down to each other. Management ignores the issues at hand and sweeps them ever so gently under the rug. The place is one large dumpster fire after another.
