Pros

Lots of excellent benefits with flexible work hours. Friendly and challenging work environment with great opportunity to learn and to advance your career.

Cons

Strong push for upper management to achieve annual incentives. Large divide between working generations. There are a lot of older engineers (20+ years) and lots of younger (0-5 years) engineers.

Pros

Great experience for a new engineer, older engineers provide advice and guidance. I just started myself.

Cons

HR seems to be nearly impossible to get a hold off, had to call for more than a day to accept offer.

Pros

Great place to start a career. Opportunities to change jobs in the company. Extended travel gets a nice pay bump. Stable work, secure employment for "good enough" employees. Flexible work week. Work doesn't follow you home.

Cons

Promotion in the technical track requires a set number of years experience, regardless of merit. Easy to get pigeonholed, and depending on what you are doing the work isn't particularly gratifying. Another reason to leave after 3-5 years. Pay and benefits package is good enough to attract and retain "good enough" employees. There is a perception in management that any engineer can do any job, but little focus on training and cultivating subject matter experts.
