      Terrible work environment

      Pros

      Fair salary. Opportunity to learn new things. Some pleasant intelligent coworkers. Basic benefit package. Profit sharing option. Basic pension package.

      Cons

      Decreasing benefits and almost non existent pension. Poor management and low quality and therefore a constant need for overtime. People work for a pay check only and wish they could find somewhere else to work with a more pleasant environment and less bullying and politics.

      Pros

      This employer pays decent wages. They are roughly competitive to other similar industries. If you are protected by a union then you are likely to experience greater satisfaction.

      Cons

      There is a lot of nepotism, and poor leadership in some of the non-union departments. They have abysmal HR policies, and there is no recourse for issues with hiring and preferential treatment. For such a wealthy company they also are very frugal and provide no extras to their employees beyond a decent wage.

      Cons

      - Management, culture, and clique mentality amongst supervisors who are overworked and who perpetuate a toxic work environment. - About 30 employee layoff in October 2024, in November offered employees with 15+ years a sub-par exit package, and June 2025 layoff of about 50 loyal employees.
