Great people to work with. Great local managers. They are trying to improve when they find faults in the organization.

Cons

Large organization. Upper management (not local) out of sync with challenges and communication.

Pros

Good people, fairly laid back, old company. Lots of interesting technology.

Cons

Lots of process. Difficult to get things done. Lots of politics also, best people didn't always get the best work, often the opposite. Very set in their ways.

Pros

Work 9 hour days and you get to have every other Friday off. Depending on your manager you get to work from home under reasonable times.

Cons

HR is a little ridiculous with their policies of moving within the company. If you strongly dislike your position and want to move within your first year there, good luck. They take a ridiculous amount of time to submit you in for a clearance. Poor management, basically non existent. If my project failed, i would be put on the bench (over head). So i have to go out of my way to find myself another gig inside the company to keep myself billable. The entire setup is ridiculous. Almost every other line of business in GDMS gets great reviews minus the one im in.
