      Value added work to the defense industry.

      Cons

      Very top heavy with management Benefits are terrible Raises are deplorable Nonsense of culture Work environment is terrible Senior leadership doesn’t care about employees

      Pros

      Low bar for success, can be low stress if you just don't care. Poor work quality just means maintenance contracts can be extended, so there's very little incentive to actually do a good job. Not the worst way to grind out a simple life and eventually retire.

      Cons

      Low pay. Govt contracting requires lots of "process". Most days are spent on meetings, planning, documentation, etc and very little real work gets done.
