Generally not interested in being a technological innovator. Salaries and raises are loosing ground to cost of living. Taxes and in state tuition costs are VERY high. Management has extremely wide range of competence; a few are the best that I've ever worked with, a few are much worse than the previous that I've ever worked with. Root cause of the bad management is non-engineer educated or experienced being the bosses of large engineering groups. Business development does not tap into engineering experts while considering future products.

This place is POORLY managed and directed. A lot of the Senior Management came from Burlington, Vt. and have no clue how to operate in the South. Managment in-fighting is a regular occurrence with Directors having verbal confrotations between each other in view of the worker-bees. There is no chance for advancement, the Directors micromanage the employees. One Director has ran off two very capable and competent managers and a company VP interviewed that department about what was wrong and decided that the employees were a bunch of whiners.
