Too many to list. Mismanagement starting with the top guy in the controller office. Supervisors are a joke except one. One guy consistently makes mistakes (field had to put in a special pressure relief valve just because of him. They call it the CH valve).
When you make a mistake, you are reminded over and over about your mistake. Then when try to apologize you are told to brush it off. The moment you forget and get back into a routine, supervisor reminds you to not forget about your screw up.
Other controllers talk crap about each other and second that person walks in they are all “hey buddy!” To used the word “toxic” is an understatement.
One guy who chooses to live BFE will cry and throw a tantrum if you come in 25 min early instead of the 30 min early COURTESY. Even when you come in 35-40 min early the three days before. Because he has a long drive home he will cry because you aren’t in to relieve him.
I can go on but honestly, it’s miserable. Lots of hypocrisy and backstabbing. Just go elsewhere
