      Pros

      —good exposure to the tech world —working here taught me what I should not tolerate in a company

      —CEO is pretty full of himself and isn’t very transparent when something is going wrong. We had a nice conversation about Christmas plans in a 1:1 two weeks before I was let go. He gave me no indication that my source of income was in trouble. He seemed nice and I thought I could have trusted him to be more transparent. —The manager I worked with at the time is no longer there but she was very abusive. She would often throw temper tantrum when one her her reports would make a small mistake. I was too scared to tell anyone because I was brand new and she’s been there for 5+ years. —Her manager regularly cancelled our 1:1s at the last minute. I think he missed opportunities to help me—and ultimately his team—improve when they really needed it. Ultimately I’m responsible for my own goals. However, in hindsight, I was fresh out of college, hardly had any recruiting experience, and had extremely poor leadership here. At least compared to other companies I’ve worked for since. This is by far the worst company I have ever worked for.

      Rewarding Career

      Pros

      I have worked at G10 for 6+ years and it has been a blessing to have such a great team and rewarding job. Everyone on the team is supportive of each other's successes and has become like family. We are encouraged by our CEO to share our ideas and suggestions for improvement each week. The work-life balance is a great perk with the opportunity to work remotely and balance schedule when needed for family commitments. Uncapped commission and competitive base salary. The fact that so many of our employees have been here for 5-10 years speaks to the great environment we have to grow in at G10--that just doesn't happen at our competitors in this industry.

      Cons

      Some of our internal processes don't have a lot of flexibility when we are in crunch time.
