• Can be a viable path to software for career changers or candidates coming from other non-traditional backgrounds. • Will learn a lot given successful completion of initial 3 month training.
Cons
• Experience varies depending on client placement. There's always the possibility that the employee is placed halfway across the nation and in a low growth/low opportunity type role. • Locked in a contract for up to 2 years with low pay and few guarantees (no guaranteed placement with a client. Even so, no guaranteed full time offer after contract expiration). • Company as a whole is very disorganized. I.e. no visibility on specific role with client prior to placement. • Understand that you are there so genesis10 can make money off of you. Client company pays genesis10 before genesis10 pays you after pocketing a significant difference.
