Pros

I cannot think of a single reason why working here is better than working the graveyard shift as a janitor at a truck stop. Even if you are full of the vim and vigor to start, being surrounded by this executive team will shred whatever passion and excitement you have for high tech in 6 months or less. You will see your career die a thousand deaths as management manipulates your ambitions and wrings your soul dry. You will sink your teeth into a juicy project only to have it deprioritized and backburned when the next shiny new acquisition comes along.

Cons

OFFSHORES TO INDIA REGULARLY. If you want to earn $$$ for the long-term, LOOK ELSEWHERE because your job will NOT BE WITH GENESYS in 12 months. NO career path forward/upward. NO competitive benefits package. I just cut my coverage in half for 2022 and my premiums still doubled. NO office. They have turned the Indianapolis campus into a show dog that knows just enough tricks to impress the judges. But that campus has no cafe, no clinic, and NO REAL EMPLOYEES. They have all been hoodwinked into working from home. DEI and Empathy - White? Male? Smart? American? Run while you can.

Pros

They like to spend money and won't skimp on the outings... Even though it is Private Equity money, they still spend it and show a good time, with wine, food, etc.

Cons

Private equity runs the budgets and where it is great for outings, the goals are not realistic. If we are being real here, 4/5ths of their technology is over 25 years only or considered ancient in todays terms. They really only care about the very large customers and how many millions they can do in add business. Poor management and so much favoritism that an outsider doesn't have much a chance unless he/she gets lucky

Times have Changed

Pros

ININ was a company I was proud to be associated with in the Indianapolis area. We had a positive reputation as an employer of choice in Indianapolis. Team operated efficiently and was healthy (with trust and support). Management encouraged empowerment with accountability and trusted their team. Compensation package is good.

Cons

I voluntarily left my position post acquisition due to lack of communication from Genesys leadership, delayed access to tool/systems, unorganized. I lost trust but maybe things are better now.
