Pros
U are exposed to all pahses of a project.More concentration on the completion of assigned tasks rather than your timings.No Hierarchical tantrums every one has a say in the project.Nobody stops from doing things u want to do in a project.Very Friendly atmosphere and less pressure.Instant recognition and greater visibility.U will become aware of quality Methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean,CMMi,etc..Greater empasis on Cross Training.
Cons
There are very less opportuninties for going onsite.The pay is average. Its very easy to get into genpact, I know 4-6 years exp ppl who doesnt understand RDBMS concepts but work on DW design.
