Pros
If you work hard and want to work hard, this is a company to go for as if you take more work they will give you more work. I used that in my advantage and used that to get experience and learn lot of things in very less time.
Cons
Here are few: -> High level of politics. If you are not in good books of your manager > AVP > VPs, you are done, doesn't matter how smart you are or how useful and hard working you are. -> You are not allowed to confront or advise your manager (Not all but most of them), if you do you will be treated as resource with attitude. Always consent your manager, that will make your life easier. -> Your performance is not evaluated by your work rather it is evaluated by how is your friendship with HR and how softly you talk to them. -> Your personal life doesn't matter. All that matter here is client satisfaction. So if you can satisfy your customer and make them happy by spoiling your health and personal life, you will be worshiped...yes just worshiped, do not expect any promotion or salary raise. -> This is may be specific to their IT division, but resource manager gives no consideration on allocating resources to a project. If you are available and there is a opening you will be allocated doesn't matter if that is you area of expertise or not and then you will be expected to perform as an expert else you will be rated as 'D'. -> Horrible compensation structure. At same level, your colleague at same level or even with inferior skill set than you might be getting double than you. You need to bargain for everything with HR..especially when you are traveling for company work.
