Decent pay, work life balance

Cons

Often fire staff, offices stay low staffed, RNs are hired that live too far out of the area to care for patient emergencies, earned PTO and holiday time is often NOT paid after approval, checks are cut large amounts of time for no reason, little corporate support high staff turnover

Cons

While hospice is mandated to utilize volunteers, no hospice company makes the programs a priority. Company goes about business as usual with volunteers as an after thought, "Oh, that's nice dear."
