Pros

The social workers are generally given free reign to manage their own case load. As long as all your client visits were conducted you can set your own hours. Paperwork can be completed at home, while on the clock.

Cons

When a patient is actively dying a southerncare employee remains at bedside. It is done in 6hr shifts and can be in the middle of the night.

Pros

I was treated like a valued part of a team. The work load did not increase to unbearable as it can with smaller hospices. I would still work with this hospice if we had not of moved to a new area. Love it and would go back in a heart beat.

Cons

For me, there were no cons working with this company.

Pros

Everyone I have met from Corporate on down has been a GOOD person, they truly live their core values. Compensation is fair, raises are small but awesome to see them give a bonus to every CNA in the company! I have been in hospice for many years and have learned a lot since my time with CURO.

Cons

It truly is a 24/7 business with lots of work after hours and weekends pushing workflow but healthcare is 24/7. Would like more in person education as CURO University can get boring in front of the computer all the time but it is effective. Company culture is fast paced but focused on doing the right thing.
