I enjoyed the field staff. They seemed to genuinely care about their role and serving others.

Cons

High turn over with focus on revenue. Decisions seem to be made on what provides most revenue for the corporation. Also frequent changes to my role and management oversight.

Working with patients and families during this vulnerable time for them is an incredible honor Direct management and team members are supportive as best as they can be given corporate rules/policies Schedule flexibility Not being micromanaged

Cons

Working 40+ every week with only salary pay Longevity unappreciated by corporate as evidenced by new inexperienced staff making more than tenured staff Redundancy in charting Corporate tends to prefer quantity of visits rather than quality Only nurses have opportunity for advancement
