Pros

It was a good place to start my career. The training was very informative and clear. I liked the people I was around.

Cons

There wasn't always constant work for us engineering techs and the communication on if to come in and what sites to go to were sometimes last minute. I also wish the teams at the company where more connected so employees would have open opportunity to communicate and pursue other rolls for growth.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and feedback. We’re glad to hear your training experience was a strong start and that you enjoyed being part of the team. Regarding work assignments, last-minute changes can be challenging but due to the nature of our project-based work, flexibility is often necessary as schedules and site needs can shift quickly. That said, we are always working to improve the timeliness and clarity of communication around these changes, and we appreciate our employees' patience and adaptability. In terms of cross-team connection and growth, we have a professional development framework in place and encourage all employees to work closely with their supervisors to create a personalized plan. Our goal is to support each team member in reaching their full potential by providing access to tools, mentorship, and both internal and external training opportunities. Collaboration across departments is something we’re actively fostering, and we welcome ideas that help strengthen this.

Pros

None, unless you want a year of sub-par experience.

Cons

The management treats employees poorly, regularly cursing at everyone. Pay for this role is roughly $36K and is criminal. You never know where you are traveling to until the morning of at 6 am, if you have work at all, and they could send you over an hour away. They require you to use your own personal car, and don't pay for wear and tear. This company also forges test results on multi-million dollar buildings.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We hold ourselves to high standards of integrity across all areas of our work. Allegations of unprofessional conduct, including the use of inappropriate language toward employees, do not reflect the values we expect from our team. Similarly, allegations of including the falsification of test results are treated with utmost seriousness. We have strict procedures in place, and any reports of such behavior are taken seriously and thoroughly investigated. Employees are encouraged to bring any issues to HR, where they will be handled with the highest level of professionalism. Flexibility is often required in our line of work, and we’re committed to respecting our employees’ time and minimizing unnecessary stress. Because travel is a regular part of the job, we include a gas reimbursement program in our benefits package to help offset the costs and support our team in the field. In terms of compensation, we provide a competitive salary that is above market standards along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance, educational assistance, paid vacation days, and more. Should you have any further concerns, we encourage you to reach out directly so we can address them promptly.

Pros

Makes sure there is always work to do

Cons

Always increases workload for employees but never increases compensation. Always understaffed for the amount of work brought to the company. Doesn't properly train employees for tasks given, employee must learn by trial and error.
