      Pros

      Worked for great individuals, was a wonderful job to have as a student.

      Cons

      Sometimes things are disorganized within the university and you have to follow up a lot with other departments.

      Pros

      Great group of people. It's a casual environment, but everyone is very hard and is passionate about what they are doing. Bagels at weekly meetings. There is a good amount of interaction and collaboration between groups. Projects are constantly in development, so if you want to work on something else, it is possible.

      Cons

      On busy days, the office can sometimes get crowded and it can be a struggle to find desk space. Because many students work at the center some days/times are completely empty and you could hear a pin drop.

      Pros

      Flexible hours to work for the most part. Most labs are very results oriented and have experienced and intelligent graduate students doing research there with you.

      Cons

      Instruments were not always in top condition, and often lacked full functionality. Constant abuse by other students which resulted in poor quality outputs from many of the instruments.
