      Pros

      Great colleagues, lovely campus, vibrant community of students, faculty and staff. I have a feeling this can vary significantly by department, but everyone I know (across a number of departments) is very happy at Mason. I work with some students and love their energy, enthusiasm, passion and commitment to excellence. Very impressed.

      Cons

      You're part of a very large system, which can impact technology, etc, but honestly, I haven't had any issues even with the large system.

      University has diverse student body, teaching is very satisfying, autonomy, excellent direction for senior academic leaders.

      Cons

      Certification guidelines can limit flexibility on topics to teach...but generally never an issue
