Pros

The company was helmed by a very dynamic Singaporean lady.

Cons

A very different work environment, can be rather challenging managing people relations which is more complex than the job itself ... an eye opener to the working culture in China.

Pros

Personell are at the top of their game. GPJ is an excellent training ground. They train you so when they let you go you can go to work for their competitors (the gpj of the south).

Cons

When it comes time to downsize Auburn Hills always gets wacked. Bob saves his people in the LA office even though AH does most of the work. LA couldn't bring a project in on budget if their lives depended on it and management lets them get away with it because if they don't mangement will look bad.

Pros

Free beer in on Fridays between 4 PM and 5 PM. Nice office as far as look and design. Very high end look and feel. Very clean!

Cons

Never heard from Directors, VP, and President you did a good job or Thank You. Co-workers will tell you job well done. Great forced unpaid work days in summer. Sales staff sells projects below estimate and with reduced project duration everytime. Production staff is responsible to make budget and timeline...and we pay the price if you don't. Sales staff never learns and never is scolded! Work too many hours due to lack of staff and lack of upper management help. Contract workers help, but it is not the solution. Hire more full time employees! ESOP ESOP ESOP that is all you will hear. They seam to hire people and let them go before they are vested.
