Pros

Exceptional people and SME teams who get the job done. Great benefits. Variety of clients who are game-changers in the event industry. Has delivery process and best practices nailed. Industry leader.

Cons

Lacks vision/defined process for career tracking. Struggles to retain long-term employees from new hire pool. Salaries/contract rates not competitive, especially given long hours needed to deliver projects, limited resources and Bay Area cost of living. Cannot secure/retain "the best in the business" employees at a PM level. Billable hours model is inflexible. Limited to no on-boarding and training time due to volume of work.

Pros

Fun and creative culture. Start up atmosphere in a corporate setting. New ideas and solutions are welcomed if you bring supporting evidence.

Cons

As in most corporate settings you have to bring a 100%. Bring work ethic, creativity, a willingness to learn, and know the value that you bring to the company. You have to set up meetings and negotiate salaries + benefits to reach your full earning potential within the company.

Attention: Interns

Pros

As an intern, you get exposure and experience. It's a large agency and their clients are on the top fortune 500 companies in various industries and there's a certain level of branding and expertise exposed to us when working on a project. It's great on your resume.

Cons

-The social structure of this established large company is naturally hierarchal, however, extremely outdated ('Mad Men' style) and undervalue employees. -Senior managers can be condescending to interns. -The culture of the office is bland and sometimes very plastic and fake. Like any internship, you are assigned work to help teams and learn from the experience, however, this internship program offers no formal training, no support, and a uninspired, unmotivating environment. -On top of all of it, they give you large responsibilities and expectations without formal training and get paid almost minimum wage.
