Pros

Gerber has a strong history in the industry.

Cons

The company is owned by venture capitalist company that could care less about it's employees. While the company was founded on innovation and technology, it no longer strives toward the same objectives. Gerber has an old school work environment. Come in at 8, leave at 5 and working from home is highly discouraged. Socialization in the office is limited and management is always watching your every move. Not very much trust between employees and management.

Pros

Good location, clean work environment. Lower Management really care about the workers and most came from in house. Great pride taken in producing a great product.

Cons

Upper management seems to simply care about the bottom line. Everything seems to be panic driven to meet deadlines which constantly change with no feedback. Just seems way to chaotic.

Pros

Gerber Scientific is a leader in Cam technologies. They pride themselves in providing world class automation and manufacturing solutions in addition to Cad solution to varying industries.

Cons

Gerber Scientific although being a leader in automated solutions to varying industries - does not provide a total positive attitude towards their employees - benefits are great. They have forgotten what got them to the dance in the beginning - which was the employee base. They tend to forget the little people for the sake of the organization.
