Pros

Free lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Cons

This is the most toxic enrivonment to work in. Communication and foresight is non-existant. Time and time again they make decisions without communicating to all parties that these decisions affect. The powers that be do not consult anyone outside of their management cirlce on business decisions, and when issues come up as a result of those decisions, they act like we, the worker bees, should have known this would happen, and fix it RIGHT NOW. Never mind the fact that we were never in on ANY of the decision making process and could have told them issues would arise well ahead of time. Or even better, on the rare occassion that we ARE asked about our opinion on a possible busines decision, we lay out the possible negative outcomes, they proceed with the decision anyway, and yet again, we have to scramble to resolve issues RIGHT NOW, issues we TOLD them would happen should they proceed with the decision. Fun times. They do not offer severence packages when workers are laid off, and expect them to continue to work for weeks knowing they are laid off.

We’re sorry you feel that your opinions were not heard during your time at GetInsured. We do value what everyone has to say. Sometimes in business, the potential reward outweighs the risk, so it’s worth moving forward even though some bumps, forewarned or otherwise, do come up in the road. That doesn’t mean that the team did not hear you; it means your views were taken into account as part of the decision-making process. We do wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

Raking in hundreds of millions of dollars building State Base Exchange platforms. Roughly 35 states still are needing them. Will Vimo/Getinsured employ the right talent to catapult them to the next level? Or will the lack of vision and foresight bring forth a trajectory that's heading south?

Cons

Sr. management is very intelligent , but is not very smart. You have Ph.D's, MBA's, even and few J.D.'s. Stanford grads as well as Ivy League schools directing traffic but They need someone that knows and understands the insurance industry. The landscape has changed since the inception of the ACA, G.I. should understand that better than anyone. They are raking in millions of dollars after all since the ACA favor the technology side of the company.
