      A Quickly Growing Startup

      Pros

      The people. GetInsured employs a smart and talented group of people that is growing fast. The UI team has a great dynamic—a lot of collaboration, learning from and helping one another. Growth. The company is growing very fast. There is opportunity to change, learn and grow with it. With growth comes a move to a bigger building (soon!) and amenities like a workout room, cafe and table tennis. Community. The community is tight-knit and incorporates fun events like lunches, food trucks and socials.

      Cons

      Long hours. This is typical of a startup. Parking. We have literally outgrown our existing space. This issue should be resolved after the move—the new building looks like it has plenty of parking.

      Pros

      The culture is one of innovation and total support for the staff. Management bends over backwards to give you an excellent employee experience. This company is on the cutting of the insurance industry.

      Cons

      There is no real cons the future is bright for this company, the development of products and marketing are fueling the tremendous growth for getinsured.com

      Really talented people who want to make a difference in the world of health care -- not just working for a bottom line. Excellent technology, a great exec team, multiple lines of business, and great employee perks.

      Cons

      The typical pains of growing faster than planned for... a lot of catch up to do, but they know it and are working to change it.
