Pros

Private company. Lots of cash if you can claw your way to the top. Some people here make way, way more money than they are worth. I've heard that director level and above get a full annual salary bonus every three years if the company meets financial objectives + the 20% - 25% they get yearly.

Cons

It is a company full of people who started out in the stores. That may seem like a plus, but the majority of people are corporate are very unprofessional and lack any logical thinking. Because the pay for upper levels is so great, it causes quite a number of unethical decisions when it comes to setting a budget and then meeting it. There is lots of talk of diversity and I have specifically heard executives talk about diversity and its benefits out of one side of their mouth and then tell a racially motivated one out of the other side. People don't walk the talk.

Pros

Local, privately held company. Big company, with some small company benefits. Most of the people are pretty friendly to work with. The company does a good job of considering work-life balance.

Cons

The leadership talks about the right things but does not appear to be interested in changing the 'good ol' boys' culture that exists here. For young professionals, but the lack of career opportunites is very discouraging.

Pros

Very good scheduling and management. They will work with you to give you the best schedule possible and compatiable with your personal life out side of the company. The benefits were very competive with those of other companies and the raises were decent. It was also nice to get the little things such as something special on your birthday or a present for every year you work with the company. Management was always easy to get a hold of when you need them and very understanding when you have personal issues that you must take care of.

Cons

Sometime I felt like it was hard to work your way up, especially starting at such a low position. I often felt that the upper management thought they were better than me.
