Pros

Great colleagues and some smart people to work with

Cons

My experience working for G+D Mobile Security for more than 7 years was initially positive but quickly turned negative after a few years, Recent re-orgs and shifting priorities (beginning of 2024), although normal at all companies, without proper communication made it a nightmare since people started getting confused as to who does what anymore which eventually even led to the major customers getting confused. Leadership in the US has become focused on sales with no operational support or adherence to SLAs for customers. Focus on sales meant laying off some of the best talented employees across all other organizations. One of the most significant issues was the lack of communication and transparency from management. Important decisions were made without consulting or informing the team, which led to confusion and inefficiency. Work-life balance was practically nonexistent, with expectations to be available outside of regular hours without any additional compensation or acknowledgment. The company's culture felt toxic, with little appreciation for hard work, and promotions seemed to be based on favoritism rather than merit. Notwithstanding, the pay is extremely low and is very far from industry standards. Also, don't expect any career progression. Training and professional development were minimal, leaving employees to figure things out on their own without proper guidance. The high turnover rate should have been a red flag, but I initially dismissed it, thinking it was a coincidence. Unfortunately, it became clear that the lack of support, recognition, and growth opportunities made it impossible for employees to thrive or feel valued. I wouldn't recommend working here unless you’re prepared to deal with a lack of respect and support from management. Hopefully, they can address these issues for future employees, but as it stands, this company has a long way to go in improving its work environment.

Pros

The health insurance benefits are commendable, and the compensation is relatively competitive, reflecting industry standards.

Cons

Excessive demands for overtime have become the norm. A disconcertingly small pay discrepancy exists between experienced personnel, who consistently perform their tasks impeccably, and new hires, who only complete half the work. This negligible difference in compensation significantly undermines the incentive for taking initiative.
