      Pros

      - excellent (still) reputation - good work/life balance - working on the leading edge of technology innovation (but see also contras)

      Cons

      - has an attitude to stick to the old and traditional (thus rendering most innovations useless) - sales has a box mover mentality, which might be great for commodity markets, but this is where G&D will fail with new technologies, solutions and services - has killed all major acquisitions and technology start-ups it had invested in during the recent years - appoints management based on personal relationship and chemistry rather than competence - with the above, burnt so much money, that the future and independence of the company is at stake
