Pros

- Beautiful office / office location - Competitive Pay - Good benefits

Cons

- New executive team couldn't find their way out of a paper bag when it comes to understanding what clients want - Execs work in an echo-chamber of lies. They sit around all day telling each other what they want to hear and don't understand the market at all - Execs are responsible of 75% of the gossip and drama - No consequences for missed numbers - No consequences for bad hires - No investment in culture. Office was constantly empty. - They've completely isolated and ignored their "elite talent network" - The new branding is just lipstick on a pig - nothing has changed.

Pros

+ Grassroots movement to improve the culture + Smart and talented individual contributors + Great location + Solid perks and benefits + YC backed

Cons

- Toxic culture stemming from the executives - Red tape and blockers that makes it impossible to implement new processes - Executives have their own agenda. Every single detail has become political - Unjustified fires and layoffs - Extreme lack of transparency - Unsupportive managers with no direction and guidance - Fear tactics - Lack of diversity, especially in sales - Corporate policies that stripped the startup mentality and environment - Executives are not being held accountable for their failures. Every quarter they had shifted priorities into a different department to solve their issues

An Exodus Not Seen Since Biblical Times

Pros

In the last six months, over a dozen employees have been liberated, either via layoffs or better opportunities. This has made what was always an empty office, feel even more empty with all the empty seats.

Cons

Either the product doesn’t work, or the company does not live its values: what’s more likely is that it’s a combination of both. This is a sinking ship: Gigster has a demonstrated past of just letting people go when things don’t go their way. They’re not solving the root of why they’re not doing well in the marketplace, and in turn just fire management, sales staff, and drive everyone else out.
