      High turnover, gee I wonder why - too lean and overworked, with no chance of promotions

      ok pay, good benefits, good flexibility for time off when needed, closed for 1 week for Xmas break, location in Bay Area.

      Cons

      Overworked, too lean, no chance for promotion..no matter how much bull they promise, no part time, no telecommuting, constant change and growth with no additional resources but actually have higher expectations and demands. cutthroat, backstabbing mgmt, they are fake fake fake, and they think we don't see it. Stock in the tank

      This company is such a puzzle... great products... but really low employee satisfaction

      Cafeterias, Peets Coffee, Stable Products, Stable company

      Cons

      Very low employee satisfaction and morale, micromanaging ole-boys club style management, does nothing to retain good talent, upper management has little respect for workers in the trenches, very arrogant about the stability of the company, the *worst* Human Resources folks you will find anywhere in the industry! Never conducts employee satisfaction surveys! Discourages promotion of employees from within the company.
