      Pros

      Gilead Sciences is a good place to work. The management team is capable, and they are very aggressive to accomplish the goals they set out for the company. Pay is average, stock options were good when the stock price was up, and the health care is very good.

      Cons

      Deadlines for projects are always changing, management doesn't always have a good idea of how long it takes to reasonable accomplish goals.

      Very competent people, many opportunities to be challenged, work life balance supported in spirit at least, good vacation and severance

      Cons

      very little training structure for independent contributors and managers too, staffing is lean, work-life balance not always supported by workload

      Pros

      Great benefits. Very flexible and provided good work and life balance. Employee stock purchase plan was outstanding. Pay was competitive.

      Cons

      The company had a tendency to micromanage the sales team and provided unrealistic goals and expectations based on market conditions.
