Pros

- Thoroughly enjoyed my time at GitLab - Amazing product that just keeps getting better - Fantastic culture of all-remote - Flexible work schedule - Leaders that live the values - Transparent CEO who is accessible, visionary, and inspirational - Excellent professional development reimbursement - Forward thinking, cutting edge organization design - Smart and collaborative coworkers - Accessible leadership - Straight shooters, not-very political

Cons

- Information and cognitive overload due to amount of information being exchanged. Pace never seemed to let up even after IPO - Everyone can contribute applies to your individual work and can slow you down as anyone can assign you something to do. Have to learn to say “No” here more than most jobs - A bit robotic at times

Pros

best place I've ever worked Leadership and team members live the CREDIT Values (Collaboration, Results, Efficiency, Diversity, Iteration, and Transparency). more transparent than anywhere I've worked you will learn a ton and come out a better person, focused on delivering value to your customers and team members.

Cons

post IPO culture not the same (not as fun) as the road to IPO
